Itinerary
DAY 1:Detailed One-day Namobudhha – Panauti Tour Itinerary
Around morning, your one-day tour starts with the 40-minute drive to Dhulikhel(1,550m). While here, you will enjoy a wide vision of snow-capped mountains and uneven terrains.
After taking enough views we drive towards Namo Buddha(1750m). The drive will run through the roads, bordered by green fields and woods. We will have lunch upon our arrival at the Namo Buddha viewpoint.
After that, you can spend some time observing the architecture of Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery which is nicely built. Alongside, you can watch the picturesque view of mountains and landscapes.
Then, our trail slides on the way to a typical village of Newari “Panauti”. It is a 2.5-hour hike from Namo Buddha to Panauti. Panauti village has numerous antique houses and temples. Likewise, you will also be fortunate to observe the novel Newari peoples and their foods.
According to myth, this entire village is just over a single stone. This town is full of 17th-century temples, most popularly Indreshwar Mahadev Temple(tallest in Panauti).
Undoubtedly, 2-3 hours is never enough to explore this historic village. Alternatively, you can stay at the homestays to explore it every inch. There are plenty of homestays providing a good place and food.
